About the Artist

Amber Marion was born on the seventh of June in a land far, far away. Interestingly enough, nothing exemplifying interesting happened. A family of five was together for the first 10 years of her life and then the ceremony of divorce brought that number down to four. A true twentieth century family, you see. Her father moved to the United States and passed away four years later. It was a lamentable period in her life and she has yet to recover. After the years of the divorce, her mother remarried and had a forth child whom she now believes is the greatest thing ever to happen, ever. When she was fifteen, Amber decided to move to Texas to live under a big sky and jig around in the warm weather. Yes, she jigs.

She is bothered by nothing and everything all at the same time, and is obsessively striving for perfection in life. She thrives off the English language, especially when the words of her favorite farm animals and kitchen utensils are spoken. Randomocity is a town and in that town she wears a funny hat. Though in reality, she wouldn't touch a hat to save her life. Amber drinks water by the gallon and has a curious obsession with straight lines, stripes, and polka dots. Nothing makes her smile more than being clean and well organized, which she is at all times. She buys purses like most people buy milk, and shoes like one craves chocolate, though she never wears them. She believes every person should have a rainbow above their heads, as well as a theme song from one of the (soon to be) three Josh Groban albums.

Her social life does not exist because she is home schooled and frightened of people. Mankind confuses her and so does organized religion, though the latter makes her more angry than addled. She formed the anti-rap cult, and recommends you join. Apart from hating such mindless babbling and beat-boxing at rapid speeds (rap), Amber is very open to music and would agree with the conclusion that it is her lifeline. She would also say the same about coffee. If her feet are ever naked (sockless), she was probably tricked into it. When life hands her an apple, she eats a peach. She has issues with commitment and she fears change. She hates lizards and loves snakes. She despises bugs, period. Amber lives by deadlines except for those she sets for herself. Her favorite color is the rainbow, and every shade of grey.

Alcohol scares her, and drugs terrify her. Because of her fears, her temporary release from life as mankind so rightly desires is the computer and the wonders of the web. She feels free when she can express herself carefully, intellectually, and take the time to plan her words. She is most happy when she is alone and tends to picture herself several years from now as a goat herder on a mountain with high-speed internet connection. She disagrees with many philosophies of politics, but she doesn't take the time to form her own. Her love for travel has taken her basically nowhere, though in her imagination she's been far. It has been said that her worst quality is her obsessive need to overly analyze every aspect of life, and also that the same is true about her best quality.

Venturing out of her fictitious yet wonderful life, she can see herself becoming a graphic and/or web designer in the near future. The inspiration behind that dream came from a land so strange that it makes her laugh thinking about it; the Orlando Bloom Files. It was there that she caught the bandwagon for forum signatures and icon avatars, almost three long years ago. Since then she's become slightly more advanced and even more obsolete with her graphic art and interest in web design. Her software of choice is Photoshop 7.0, but she upgraded to Photoshop CS2 and decided to keep it due to extreme laziness. The friends she has met online and in the art community are dear to her, and she is always looking to meet new people. She doesn't intend to come off unpleasantly but unless you get to know her, that is how she tends to seem. Due to the growing numbers of third person autobiographies, there is a good chance she will re-write this at any given time.
